We hope you all had a lovely holiday. We certainly did.
The Christmas decorations and lights are down, we got some “spring cleaning” done, and are ready to rumble, I mean get back to work. Speaking of “rumble”, I grew up where that word was used. There was always going to be a rumble between the Danbury guys and the New Fairfield guys. (In Connecticut) Truth be known, the New Fairfield guys were terrified of the Danbury guys and you know what? Neither side ever showed up. Well there you go, I digress.
We are back to work and ready for action. I have a big buying trip scheduled for the end of January and I think Dean may be nervous. Me and jewelry, let’s do it! My plan is to add lots more items to our store. Rings being the first order of business. Can one ever get enough rings, I hardly think so! So can I just say, I’m excited!
Tell us what you want. What are you looking for? Let me see if I can find it. This show is mainly sterling silver buuuuuuut with yummy semi-precious and natural stones. So exciting! Honestly, if you are looking for something and want to see it on our site, I will see what I can do.
Okay, let's get down to business. I think I say this every year, okay let’s go with this. What do you think are the 2 most popular and loved stones? If you put diamonds in there, nope! The two most popular stones are garnets and amethyst. Hey, I’m just talking the truth. And on top of that, garnet is January’s birthstone. Talking about stones. Holy smokes, when did y’all get so into stones? All of a sudden everyone is into stones and their meanings. Luckily we have many stone bracelets on our site, okay a little plug there.
So here is a little something-something about garnets to get the month going.
Physical healing properties of garnet are believed to detoxify and purify. Garnet gemstones are thought to assist with regeneration, as supported by garnet meaning, and revitalization. Garnet is believed to increase metabolism and libido. It is thought to detoxify the blood as well as the heart and lungs.
